Agriculture in Nepal By Motikrishna shah: Nepal is agri predominated country consisting of 66% overall population(3 crore approx. ) dependency on agriculture. Nepal  is still moving on the path of development lacking enough industries for processing of it raw materials. Most  of people live in village and they are engaged in basic activities for sustaining their life. These  activities involves cultivation of crop, vegetable  and fruits. More  than 70% of our human resources are involved in agriculture sector and it provide 40% of gross domestic product. Thus   agriculture is major sources of living for Nepalese and vital sources of income contributing to country economy.
